Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day financial transactions and help ensure the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Make entries in Bank Book & Ledger Book.
- Make Creditors List with the help of the Site team.
- Prepare Petty cash summary.
- Prepare TDS List.
- Issue and prepare invoices.
- Coordinate with Bank regarding balance.
- Prepare Sale / Purchase Summary.
- Track and monitor accounts payable.
- Handle the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Take Ledgers from Debtors & Creditors.
- Check Invoices as per Purchase order.
- Assist senior accountants with all financial operations.
- Go to bank work as and when required.
- As needed, assist with other accounting projects.
- Assist other departments such as HR and Marketing with reviewing expenses.
Requirements:
- Maintain and update the Bank Book & Ledger Book.
- Prepare a Creditors List in coordination with the site team.
- Compile and summarize petty cash transactions.
- Prepare and maintain TDS lists.
- Generate and issue invoices accurately.
- Coordinate with banks regarding account balances and related queries.
- Prepare sales and purchase summaries.
- Track and monitor accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
- Manage the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Reconcile ledgers for debtors and creditors.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Assist senior accountants in financial operations and reporting.
- Handle banking tasks as and when required.
- Provide support for other accounting projects as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments such as HR and Marketing to review expenses.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a must.
- Proficiency in Tally and finance skills is essential.
- Preferred Candidates: Female candidates only.
- Bonus Points: Experience in the real estate sector is a plus.
